eLearning is literally electronic learning. More specifically, it is a type of learning that occurs through the use of electronic media. Most eLearning "experts" use it to refer to learning systems that use the world wide web (www) and internet protocols (email, etc.). In reality, it is a term used to market training that relies wholly or partially on the Web. Almost any type of training that is conducted using the Web is referred to as eLearning. | ||||||
