Learning Management Systems (LMS)

What is a Learning Management System?

A learning management system, or LMS, is generally a system to deliver, manage, track and report on student learning. Systems advertised as LMSs may have these and many other features that facilitate learning, including student registration, progress tracking, and assessment. A learning management system should not be confused with a learning content management system (LCMS) or a content management system (CMS).
